ABOUT

From a young age, I have always had a passion to seek out activities that would challenge me to cultivate a deeper awareness both mentally and physically. In my early years, I was drawn to both gymnastics and wrestling as a way to utilize the power of good body mechanics over brute strength. By being intuitive and mindful of how to actively engage in each sport I was able I was able to make it to the varsity state champion. It is thanks to a balanced practice of these physical skills in my life that by before the end of my high school career, I was able to be enrolled full-time into college while becoming a firefighter. Being a firefighter proved to be as challenging as one could imagine, testing my physical skills to the max while staying sharp and up-to-date in the medical field as an EMT. This only further drove my excitement toward understanding the complexities behind human anatomy and our ability to overcome so much when pushed to the limit. Years later as my career progressed into a life as a Licensed Massage Therapist, I gained even deeper knowledge in my studies of kinesiology to fully assist clients on their fitness journey through many different modalities. Through my current work as a Massage Therapist, Yoga instructor, and dedicated Personal Training Coach, I have honed my skills in many different fields in order to have a wide understanding of the human body and to be able to pass that experience along to others.

TURNING POINT

I, like many of us, underestimated the value of exercise and nutrition in my youth and found myself less active in my more academically inclined years through college. Due to this, I have experienced high levels of pain, discomfort, and deficiencies that led me to nonoptimal daily physical functions as I got older. As severe and uncomfortable as this experience has been, it drove me to really deep dive into the importance of understanding what it takes to feel my best and the constant actions it requires to get there. Above all else, this experience has instilled in me my passion for wanting to help others along their own physical wellness journeys to build the fundamental framework to prevent injury and encourage setting consistent positive habits to establish a solid foundation in which physical performance can flourish.

PASSION & MOTIVATION

Injuries are the last thing I want to see people have after my time spent as an EMT which involved going on various calls related to self-injury. My passion and purpose drive me to make every effort I can to educate, inspire, and empower my clients to cultivate an awareness-based practice centered around proper structural alignment to help keep a health-conscious mindset fueling and supporting every movement enjoyed in and out of the gym. I want each and every person to reach their goals feeling their best in every action they take to get there.
